This is an app that allows you to borrow money against your paycheck.

When your next paycheck comes in, you pay this money back.

Now, at first glance, Earnin is just a payday loan.

I don’t like payday loans because they charge extortionate amounts of interest, which gets people into debt. Most people end up having to take out another payday loan to cover the interest from the last loan they took out.

I totally get why they exist though because sometimes people just don’t have the money they need when they need it.

If you do need cash fast though, I would recommend Earnin over your traditional payday loan providers for one reason:

Earning does not charge interest.

This means that you don’t have to worry about paying interest on the money you borrow.

Instead of charging interest, Earnin recommends that you leave a tip, but it’s not mandatory.
